My name is Madligeri Praveen Kumar, and I am currently pursuing my second year of MBBS at Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru. I come from a small village called Hagaribommanahalli in Karnataka.
I am deeply honoured to have been selected as a recipient of education assistance from AdiMahesh Seva Foundation, and I sincerely thank the foundation for its generous support. This assistance has significantly helped me pursue my academic and career goals. It has not only eased my family’s financial burden but has also motivated me to work harder, strive for excellence, and pursue my dreams with confidence.
I learned about this education assistance through a website called Global Scholarship, which lists available opportunities based on students’ courses. My father is a farmer, and my mother works as a daily wage labourer on farmland. We belong to a farming family where education has always been valued, but financial constraints have often been a major limitation.
Through the education assistance provided by AdiMahesh Seva Foundation, this burden has been reduced, allowing me to focus completely on my studies and career aspirations.
In my first attempt at NEET, I scored 436 marks, but I was unable to secure a medical seat in Karnataka. I then joined BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences) while continuing my NEET preparation through online classes from Physics Wallah. In my second attempt in 2023, I scored 634 marks with an AIR of 12,295, which helped me secure a free government MBBS seat in one of the top medical colleges in Karnataka.
My family and I are extremely grateful to AdiMahesh Seva Foundation for this invaluable support. This education assistance has given me the opportunity to move closer to my career goals.
Thank you once again to AdiMahesh Seva Foundation.
